In the Shop… Design-Framing-Matting-Glazing-Shadow Box

Framin’ Place & Gallery is primarily a custom framing business, working with the finest wood and metal framing material available, as well as glass, matting and hardware.  All stock materials are kept on-site, and what material isn’t in stock in our shop can usually be delivered to us within 24-48 hours; this combination allows our craftsman to build each frame in our workshop on site.

The work on each piece entrusted to our care is done in-house by the very same people with whom our clients consult.  Each project is handled and directed by the staff person involved in the design with the client.  
Since all work is done on-site in our shop, our clients’ artwork never needs to leave the premises.  Because of this, our usual turn-around for project work is only one week; instead of the standard two-week timeline you will experience at most other frame shops in the area.

Conservation & Preservation
Custom framing isn’t just about making an enhanced visual presentation display of the art or document.  It’s also about preserving that piece as well, so that it may be enjoyed and appreciated for as long as possible.

In the Gallery…Art and Artists-Themes-Gifts for Purchase
Framin’ Place & Gallery includes an intimate gallery space, offering both original and “giclee” (fine quality reproduction) framed art pieces available for purchase.  The Gallery displays are constantly changing.  Special focus displays within the Gallery, usually a specific artist or theme, change about every 4 weeks.  Original artwork by local artists can be seen near the entrance to the Gallery space.
